Brothers and Sisters,
Christ is Risen!
This week, the Pascha Book Study begins, and it will run from Wednesday, April 15-Wednesday, May 13. Dr Benedict H. will lead the discussion about Paul Kingsnorth's popular book Against the Machine. The group will be in-person only; it will meet in the parish house at 7pm. However, it will be well worth the effort to join the actual, live discussion since Dr Benedict has over 700,000 folks who listen to him talk about technology and philosophy every week online, so we are genuinely blessed to have him leading the conversation.
Fasting Days
There is no fasting during Bright Week! Wha-Hoo!
Daily Services
Tuesday, April 14-Friday, April 17: Orthros 4am; Vespers 5pm (please note that there will not be any daily services on Monday, April 13; also, the daily services during Bright Week are much shorter than the normal daily services; in general, if you plan on attending the daily services, it’s a good idea to check with Father Aidan the day before to make sure the schedule has not changed). However, Fr. Andrew, Father Deacon Seraphim, and many other folks continue to broadcast daily readings from spiritual books online. They are now reading The Collected Homilies of St Gregory Palamas . The schedule is as follows: M-F at 12pm.
In addition to the daily Synaxarion readings posted in the #synaxarion channel on Discord, the online team is now posting daily Bible Readings that will allow you to read through the Bible in a year. These readings are posted in the #bible-365 channel.

Coming Up
If you want us to get into that new temple as soon as possible, there are three things you can do:
Join us in offering The Akathist for a New Temple each week. Copies are available in the bookstore and online; a recording is available on Discord, and there is a group that meets on Discord each Friday at noon to offer the service.
Join us for one of the Wednesday Morning Divine Liturgies. Those will resume at 6am on Wednesday, April 22, and, at the conclusion of each of those Liturgies, you will have the opportunity to reverence our relic of St Eanswythe of Folkestone, the Patroness of our Building Program.
Take out a (totally free) subscription to our Substack, Come See Something Beautiful, and forward each of the three weekly posts to absolutely everyone you know.
Our Moment of Grace and Courtesy
To help off-set some of the crowding in the nave, on big attendance Sundays, the ushers will be leaving the doors between the nave and the narthex open. That should help a bit, but it will also require that a lot of the things that we often do in the narthex (calming a child, taking a break, visiting with friends, checking our phone) will need to be done out on the porch.
