TRAINING TOPIC
With the knowledge that 1 in 10 children will be sexually abused before they turn 18 years old, it is vital to learn the types of situations in which child sexual abuse could occur and simple, effective strategies for protecting children. In this workshop, you will learn how to talk about the prevention of sexual abuse with children and other adults, simple and effective strategies to minimize the opportunity of sexual abuse occurring, signs of sexual abuse and the tools to react responsibly. This training approaches the difficult topic in a way that is empowering and motivating, through a group discussion about important strategies and barriers in sexual abuse prevention.
