Brothers and Sisters,
Greetings in the Name of the Lord.
Christ is Risen!
No word yet on when we will be able to once again hold public services or events. When tracking those developments, please remember that both the State of Texas and the Antiochian Archdiocese have to sign off on the next steps. We will let you know as soon as we hear any news; however, in the meantime, you can say your prayers, read the Holy Scriptures, offer your Typika on Sunday, join in the ZOOMed sessions for St Thomas School and the Pascha Book Study. All of that information is contained in this issue of The Happy Priest, so read through it all carefully.
Reminder: the emailed version of this newsletter includes updates exclusive to St. John parishioners. If you believe you should be receiving that newsletter, please contact Fr. Aidan.

Hymns and Scripture Readings
It’s time to get back to the Typika this weekend. Here are the Scripture Lessons (Acts 5.12-20; St John 20.19-31). Here are the hymns that you can use with the Typika Service for Thomas Sunday:
While the tomb was sealed, Thou didst shine forth from it, O Life. While the doors were closed, Thou didst come in to Thy Disciples, O Christ God, Resurrection of all, renewing in us through them an upright spirit, according to the greatness of Thy mercy.
Though Thou didst descend into the grave, O Immortal One, yet didst Thou destroy the power of Hades, and didst arise as victor, O Christ God, calling to the myrrh-bearing women, Rejoice, and giving peace unto Thine Apostles, O Thou Who dost grant resurrection to the fallen.
